Point Reyes National Seashore

I moved from coast to coast for my next park assignment -- Point Reyes National Seashore. I spent my high school years (1952 to 1955) living in Marin County and visited the future seashore quite often. In fact, a group of my friends and I actually hunted rabbits with the permission of one of the ranch owners. The National Seashore was established in 1962 by a congressional bill signed by President John F. Kennedy.

I'll start with some "general" photographs which show the diversity of the area.

Ahhh, California coast, there's a reason it costs so much to live there - you get what you pay for!
